Work problems advice poll?!?

ok I JUST started a new job last week. i wasnt told when i work next i and i wasnt in the computers.plus i wasnt written on the schedule like i was the first time. they also didnt even have me fill out an availability sheet. then yesterday they called and said i was supposed to work 4-close. i was at a football game and it was too late. then this morning they called and said just to remind me i work tonight! i'm not sure why i'm being scheduled. i indicated in the interview i needed day hours mostly. tonight im babysitting. i dont know what to do. PLUS they have infractions. if you dont go to work you get points off and you can get fired.


AND another place called me for an interview and i applied there first and really wanted to work there. idk if i should take the interview since i technically have a job. but i really want this new one!

Go for the new job offer and try not to burn your bridges a long the way.





By that I mean give your present employer a weeks notice saying a better situation has come up for you and that you will leave reluctantly - with hope that should the situation change that they would consider employing you again. Say nothing negative - just nice (even phony) things and you might still end with a clean resume and perhaps a reference in the future.
