Boy problems? Advice please? :]?

There's this guy I've known since first grade and we went to different middle schools, and go to different high schools. We're both about to be seniors in high school and we met up again on facebook and saw each other at a fundraiser last weekend and decided to hang out. Well, yesterday we were supposed to go to the movies and he called me and said he could be early, and then called me at the original time he was supposed to be there, and said he couldn't make it.





We've been talking for a while now and we were originally supposed to be homecoming dates to each other's dances. The thing is, I have so much going on this year that I don't want to be involved with a boy, and I'd prefer just to go to homecoming with my friends this year. Any advice on how to tell him?Boy problems? Advice please? :]?
I'm not so sure you're really being honest here. Reading between the lines, he sorta let you down by now showing up to the movies and now I think you're scared that he might do the same at these homecoming events.





Still, regardless of the reason, there's nothing that says you have to do anything with him. I don't see any reason why you can't be straight up with him and just tell him that you don't want to be involved but thanks, it's been good seein you again sorta thing.





What's the worst that can happen? He'll be po'd at you? Does that really matter? You don't want him around anyway ~lol~
