There's this guy I've known since first grade and we went to different middle schools, and go to different high schools. We're both about to be seniors in high school and we met up again on facebook and saw each other at a fundraiser last weekend and decided to hang out. Well, yesterday we were supposed to go to the movies and he called me and said he could be early, and then called me at the original time he was supposed to be there, and said he couldn't make it.
We've been talking for a while now and we were originally supposed to be homecoming dates to each other's dances. The thing is, I have so much going on this year that I don't want to be involved with a boy, and I'd prefer just to go to homecoming with my friends this year. Any advice on how to tell him?Boy problems? Advice please? :]?
Tell him how you just wrote it. Bear in mind that this will probably hurt him a little, and will take a hit to his pride. Maybe the reason why you aren't so excited to go with him is that you don't really like him that much. Maybe or maybe not. It depends.
