So i jumped into a relationship about a month ago meaning the relationship has only just begun, and I'm already having doubts. (I'm 19 and she's 17 if that means anything to you).
Reasons to stay:
-She's random and impulsive just like me
-She's real fun when we're alone together
-She's not a ****/whore
-She's really nice
-I'm her first good boyfriend and I don't want her thinking she's hopeless
Reasons to leave:
-Our views on life are quite different
-The way she acts with other people often bothers me
-When I'm not around her, I often think poorly about our relationship
-I have a hard time seeing us going anywhere
-I think the main reason I'm with her is to boost her self esteem
So those are the main pros and cons. Additional details are that she's been in the same group of friends as me for about four years now, but we never spoke much until about a week before we started dating (at our prom party) and I only started liking her about five days before we started dating.
I would rather not break up until her self esteem is up and stable, but I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do or not.Girlfriend problems. Advice please?
Doesn't sound like a good idea, if this relationship doesn't feel right (it certainly doen't seem so) just tell her so. The longer you're going to stay to get her ';self-esteem'; up the more dependant she is going to get on you and she would probaly be more heart broken if you broke up with her later in the relationship rather than earlier which would destroy all you're hard work to get her self-esteem stable.
