ok... this will be pretty long...
I have been best friends with one girl since second grade. (i am in gr. 7) Last year we were in different classes, and same with this year. She got way more ';Popular'; than me after that, and we have kinda drifted off. I still really want to be friends with her, but its hard.
Now, I made friends with 3 other girls. 1 is in gr 6, and 2 are my age, and those two hang out together, as well as me. But they seem to almost be avoiding me, and one of them doesn't treat me like much of a friend. Mean while, the girl younger than me is really sweet, and is really nice, but the other girls don't like her that much.
What do I do????Friendship problems! Advice?
Be true to yourself. If these chicks bad mouth sixth grader behind her back and make you feel like they aren't being true friends, let them go. Most likely, they bad mouth you when you are not around. Sounds like six grader is the only true friend and you don't want to be associated with the two chicks who aren't real nice if she comes around to how they really are. Having one good friend is far better than having several not so cool people in your life. Trust me. I've been there.Friendship problems! Advice?
Hang out with who you want to. You'll have to work to get that other friend back, but if she was able to become popular, the so can you.
