Stomach Problems -- Advice Please?

I would say it started yesterday morning. We didn't have school today and tomorrow because of a snow storm so i basically stayed around the house -- being lazy. I don't get sick often -- my mom says i have a good immune system and im very healthy. But today and yesterday i started to get a stuffy nose and a running nose -- is that weird to have both? I also had a scratchy throat and i got up like around 3 so my mom good give me some dayquil -- and ive been sucking on some cough drops all this week....i would actually say it started monday at school then -- but it was just a scratchy throat. So i was eating my chicken noodle soap and sipping my hot cocoa and i suddenly got really hot and than cold....my dad said its signs of a flu....but now i feel better....its weird. Any advice to make it clear up faster or if i don't have it severe maybe i could prevent it...i have a date friday....help! Sometimes -- only sometimes do i feel okay and then i feel like im going to throw up -- not bad but i still have that feeling -- i have been drinking carbonated drinks.Stomach Problems -- Advice Please?

ok sounds like you have the flu (hint: the fever), try some vitamin C and selenium tabs(if ur not allergic to it) they tend to boost the immune system, so they'll help u get over the flu faster. Also I'd advise to cut out the carbonated drinks, too much will upset your stomach and give u a gassy feeling, hence the ';throw up'; feeling, try some juice, its better for u and the flu, and way less sugar than sodas. Hope u get well soon.oh and try some antihistamines (e.g. chlorpheniramine 'Histal', or diphenhydramine) for the stuffy/runny nose.
That's sounds like a common cold.

I have a sucky immune system, name a sickness I probably have had it..

Stuffy and runny, that's normal, scratchy throat is definitely normal for a cold.

The stomach could be totally different.

My stomach randomly hurts sometimes.

Be careful with what you eat and such. That could be the problem.

And if you barely get sick, you could just be working yourself up. :]

Take musinex. And Tylonol. I can't spell :)
I just got over a stomach bug, jsut get in bed and SLEEP.

You might wake up and throw up but thats not a bad thing.

Avoid orange juice and acidic drinks, stick to sodas, if your hungry try eating toast and chicken broth, rice, bananas, or apple sauce.

Get rest and Good Luck!
