we have been going out for over six months now and we r both strong Christians. the problem is we really want to have a clean sexually pure Christian relationship and we seem to be struggling. we have tried everything we can think of and r stuck. neither of us want to continue wut we r doing but we really love each other and would never imagine leaving each other in a million years. does any one have any advice on how we can clean it up??Me and my girl r having some problems keeping our relationship clean, any advice on how to clean it up?
I'm currently engaged to my fiance, and we have been together for 3 years. We are also very strong in our Christian faith.
Pray to God and ask Him for the strength to continue to live in purity until it's the right time. Also, marriage is a good option IF you marry because of your love for each other and not because of the sex.
Good luck %26amp; God bless!Me and my girl r having some problems keeping our relationship clean, any advice on how to clean it up?
You have my sympathy. You are fighting nature, and that's a losing game because your hormones never give up.
But it's surprising, and more than a little pathetic, that you still harbor these ancient ideas that your natural urges are 'dirty.' It's really surprising that anyone is still that far behind the times.
You might convert to Catholicism, in which sex is not seen as sinful as it is with Protestant theology. Of course that would mean you have to have lots of babies to be pure, so I guess you lose either way.
The dirt, by the way, is literally all in your mind, which is what needs cleaning so you can think with it for a change.
You have to be more clear on your responses because i do not fully understand what you mean by ';cleaning up your relationship'; Do you mean that the two of you have been engaging in premarital sex and want to stop that...? if that's the issue then do not put yourself in those situations where you will be tempted to fool around. And if you already sinthen ask God for forgiveness, ask him to give you strength to remain pure through your actionns and hurts.
I am a Christian as well. The only thing you can do is rely on God. He'll give you the strength to keep it pure. You already know what He expects of you.
If it's too tough, maybe try hurrying up the wedding a bit.
:)
Good luck!
get married!
