Start by taking him every hour yourself. Any accidents he has to help you clean it up. Once he starts going on his own or letting you know he needs to go then you can start easing off of the schedule where you are having to take him. This will take some time so be patient and make sure you are consistent. My son pee's on the toilet but we're having problems with the pooing any advice?
My son would go back and forth. At first we could only get him to pee and when he had to go poo he would bring us a pull-up or just go hide and go. We tried all we could to get him to go on the potty, giving him rewards and things, but we could only get him to go every once in awhile. He eventually started going, but stopped again. We asked the doctor and he said he might just be uncomfortable. We had him going on the big toilet, so the doctor suggested putting a stool underneath their feet to provide some comfort.
You can also keep an eye one him. My son always made a face when he was getting ready to go, at that point I would grab him up and take him to the potty. A few times of that and we got him sitting back on there going. With much praise. Good luck, hopefully he'll start going again.
did a big change happen if not first ask why he would ';stop being a big boy'; then do a little punishment....
